Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8
Purpose and Goal
Acknowledging the fact that God is the source of all knowledge and wisdom, and that our school media centers serve as an extension of the classroom, the Shiloh Hills Christian School media centers are dedicated to the task of providing resources that will help students, faculty, and families of Shiloh Hills Christian School become more discerning life-long learners as they develop and grow in their Christian faith and fulfill their position as children of God.
The goal of the SHCS media centers is to reinforce the stated mission and vision of the school. Additional goals are to provide materials that will exemplify a Christian world and life view, to support the curriculum taught at all grade levels and to encourage a love of reading and research.
The purpose of the SHCS media centers is to support the administration, teachers, and students by providing resources that will supplement, enhance and enrich the curriculum that is being used.
